The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great pride and patriotic fervor at SBSM School on 26th January. The school campus resonated with the spirit of nationalism as students, teachers, management members, parents, and distinguished guests gathered to commemorate this important national event. The programme began with a patriotic opening address highlighting the significance of Republic Day, the adoption of the Indian Constitution, and the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. This was followed by a prayer rendered by the school choir, seeking divine blessings and guidance to uphold constitutional values. A warm welcome address was delivered, extending greetings to the respected Chief Guest, management members, Principal, and the gathering. The Chief Guest, Shri Praveen Kumar Tatia, a distinguished entrepreneur, philanthropist, and social leader, was formally introduced. His inspiring journey and remarkable contributions to education, healthcare, and social welfare were highlighted. He was then felicitated by the Management Members and the Principal as a token of respect. The proud moment of the celebration was the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief Guest. A disciplined and impressive march past by the four houses along with RSP and Guides showcased unity, coordination, and team spirit among the students.

The cultural segment added colour and energy to the programme. A delightful dance by the KG students, speeches in English, Hindi, and Tamil, a soulful patriotic song, a meaningful dance drama conveying responsible citizenship, and a vibrant patriotic dance captivated the audience and reinforced national pride.
