Golden Jubilee Celebrations
Shri B S Mootha Girls’ Senior Secondary School, managed by Shri Rajasthani Jain Samaj Mambalam and Shri Rajasthani Jain Samaj Educational Trust, celebrated its 50th year of establishment with a magnificent “Gratitude Evening” on Sunday, 19th July 2026.
The event was held at Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall, Lady Andal, Chetpet. On this occasion, donors, well-wishers, and dedicated individuals who contributed significantly to the school’s growth were honored. The program commenced with a prayer, followed by a welcome address delivered by Secretary Shri Nirmal Nahar. In his speech, he emphasized that this was not merely a celebration of fifty years of the institution that have now become reality. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to all donors, alumnae, and the school family for their invaluable support.
An engaging audio-visual presentation titled “From Then to Now” showcased the glorious journey of the school from its inception to the present day.
On this historic occasion, Chairman Shri Harish L. Metha, Vice President Shri Madanlal Gundecha, Managing Trustee Shri Paras Singh Munot, Secretary Shri Nirmal Nahar, Correspondent Shri Rajkumar Jain, Principal Ms. Rohini Muthuswamy, Vice Principal Ms. Maheshwari, and faculty members graced the event. Other esteemed members of the management also participated, adding dignity to the celebration.
Donors, well-wishers, and former educators were honored with shawls and commemorative shields for their invaluable contributions in elevating the institution from humble beginnings to great heights over the past five decades.
The Chief Guest, Shri Kailashmull Dugar (President – Research Foundation for Genealogy), and the Guest of Honor, Shri Suresh Mutha (Family Business Strategist and Legacy Builder), were present.
The Guest of Honor extended heartfelt congratulations on the Golden Jubilee and wished the school a bright future.
To make the evening even more memorable, renowned singers Rishabh Jain and Sambhav Jain presented a captivating “Divine Musical Journey.”
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Correspondent Shri Rajkumar Jain, who expressed deep gratitude to the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, donors, alumnae, and all those who contributed directly or indirectly to the success of the celebration. The dignified event ended with the National Anthem.
